sinnaonthebarricade: In Shakespearean we don’t say “I love you” we say “Since my dear soul was mistress of her choice and could of men distinguish, her election hath seal’d thee for herself” which roughly translates to “I trust you completely even though every other person who meant anything to me has betrayed me” and I think that’s really beautiful.
